HEY everyone, hope you have all heard about the upcoming restrictions and cutbacks on medicaid. I know many of you rely on this for your healthcare and have probably already heard that the administration plans some serious cutbacks. In Arkansas, in particular, the newer “work requirements” were the reason so many got kicked off their insurance. Imagine if half of all Coloradans who rely on medicaid for their addiction treatment got kicked off. You would either have to self pay your treatment or unfortunately relapse!.
Everyone, do yourself a huge favor and start looking up medicaid work requirements in your state to make sure that you are following them to the T. Arkansas will have dumped 50,000 patients by next year, 2019….
I guarantee we won’t want that in our state but it’s probably coming due to the administration’s new policies…
